Rosacea - Information on RosaceaRosacea InformationRosacea is basically a skin disease typical to youth, but it may occur to the people at any age. Causes of RosaceaThe cause of rosacea is unknown, but researchers believe it's likely due to some combination of hereditary and environmental factors and some believe in other theories not one have been proved yet. Treatment of RosaceaMethods For Treating Rosacea are : 1) Topical antibiotics like metronidazole ,azelaic acid for reduction of inflammation 2) Oral antibiotics including tetracycline, minocycline, doxycycline and erythromycin 3) Accutane can be prescribed for more severe cases 4) Surgical measures such as electro or laser surgery 5) Daily scrubbing the eyelids gently with diluted baby shampoo or an over-the-counter eyelid cleaner and applying warm (not hot)
